The Specialty Catalog is a treasured remembrance of our wonderful, multi-talented dogs and their accomplishments. This year, we will be doing something special with our catalog ads. In memory and celebration of Ann Mortenson, flat-coat fancier, FCRSA President and Chair of the 1997 Minnesota specialty, we will be sponsoring a contest for the ad which best captures the creativity and spirit of Ann and of our flatcoats. The winner will receive a lovely plaque commemorating this event. Prices are:
Ads can be submitted in 3 different ways:
If submitting text and photos for us to create the ad make sure that the text is legible and the layout instructions are clear. Please mark each camera ready ad and / or photographs with the owner's name on the back so it can be returned to you at the Specialty or by mail. Include contact information in case we have questions. Catalog Ad Deadline is March 15, 2007 Make your check out to "FCRSA 2007" and mark it with "catalog ad" in the memo. To help defray the costs of producing the 2007 FCRSA Specialty, we are conducting fundraisers featuring high quality, unique items. Your purchase of these lovely items will help to the 2007 Specialty a truly first class event. Handwoven Table Runner and Placemats.

As part of our fund raising effort for the 2007 Specialty, we are raffling off a beautiful, one of a kind quilt. This queen sized quilt was hand made by UMFCRC member Caroline Baihly. It is done in lovely, vibrant colors and features the Canada Geese commonly seen in Rochester year round. A silhouetted flatcoat is also featured on this quilt. Don't miss your chance to win this beautiful heirloom quality quilt. The drawing for this quilt will be held at the FCRSA Annual Meeting during the 2007 Specialty. Winner need not be present to win. The Live and Silent Auctions held annually during our evening specialty events have become
a wonderful Specialty tradition. We are pleased to continue this tradition and to host
these auctions for the benefit of the Flat-Coated Retriever Foundation. We hope that all

[top] The Hat Trick Award:
As has become a tradition at FCRSA National Specialties, we will be offering a special award which recognizes those dogs
that exhibit the versatile talents of the Flatcoated Retriever. Dogs that make three
'goals' during Specialty Week by placing or qualifying in three different areas of
competition (conformation, field events, agility and obedience) will receive a special
rosette representing the Hat Trick Award for the FCRSA 2007.
